Ivy's Words

At the age of 19 I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease...

Multiple doctors misdiagnosed me 5 times.

I was told I could drink milk of magnesia.

I was told it was in my head.

I was told I was probably just pregnant.

I was told to take medication after medication with no improvement.

I was still struggling at the age of 38 and getting worse each day.

One morning at 3:00 AM I awoke with heart palpitations which I was told was probably anxiety. At that time I was on 14 medications.

I refused to believe anxiety & heart palpitations were normal. I set an emergency appointment with one of my many doctors the next day. He told me I was having a health crisis and had "serotonin syndrome."  I was having a pre-seizure & he was the Dr. who had prescribed the last four medications to help me cope with the pain I was suffering.

I stopped all meds immediately to save my life.  I fired that doctor and I never looked back...

I went to see a nutritionist who suggested a gluten-free diet with a candida albicans cleanse.

That was the beginning of my transformed life.

I did my own research and with the help of my wonderful partner, Deb reading so many new research studies we discovered there are so many foods (not just gluten) which are extremely inflammatory.

I was introduced to J.J.Virgin's, Virgin Diet plan and it set me on a new path to help others find their joy for life and live pain-free as I have.

The ECHO Health & Wellness Plan is very similar to The Virgin Diet but adds a few other details, personal support, personal shopping, individual recipes and live cooking experiences with Ivy right in your own kitchen.

Don't just manage your symptoms, TRANSFORM your life!

The ECHO Story

How ECHO Started

Deb and Ivy started ECHO as a simple facebook page in 2014 after some great results.

ECHO is an acronym for Everything Clean Healthy & Organic. OR Eat Clean, Healthy & Organic. Since we have cleaned out not just our kitchen but also removed harmful cleaning agents, chemicals and beauty products from our home, living with less pain has been a bright reality.

Encouraged by friends who were seeing major changes in our health, energy & weight loss, we decided to share some recipes. Since then a facebook merge from 2 pages wiped out all recipes which had been posted, but Ivy has a cookbook in the works!

Not only has Deb eliminated symptoms of fibromyalgia but Deb has also decreased pain in muscles and joints by eating differently. She has also eliminated the painful condition of acid reflux.

Deb (pictured to the left with Ivy on their wedding day, is the research director at ECHO. Her endless thirst for facts and truth drives her to feed us information and new science and research which is happening daily in the health and wellness industry. Deb is dedicated to finding natural remedies for ailments not only for her own benefit but for the good of all of those we serve.

Ivy has lost a total of 143 lbs. since 2011. Most of of the weight loss and regaining of energy and vitality has been since being introduced to The Virgin Diet & then starting the ECHO diet in 2014.

Ivy was the Valedictorian of her graduating class in 1996 from Gwinnett College in Atlanta, GA. Certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and GA State Licensed since 2006. Certified as a Health Coach since 2017 she hopes to help others relieve pain just as she has.

Deb and Ivy live with their two furry daughters Ravi & Raven in Gainesville, GA and enjoy boating and other outdoor events and are both self-proclaimed clean -eating "foodies."

Therapy Dog Raven

Raven was born in Georgia (we think) and was homeless and incarcerated from 2011 to 2013. When we met her at Dawson County Animal Shelter

she instantly gave Deb a hug.

That was it... adoption papers signed.

She is a stunning beauty who has come so far not only in her own journey to learn how to love and trust but also in being affectionate to clients with anxiety who come to us for bodywork.

Raven is available for hugs and pets at our office in Dawsonville when her schedule is clear. She currently does not answer email or text messages but her mother, Ivy, can be reached (and usually responds quickly) at 770.990.7470.
